Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona. Graduated in Sculpture from the School of Arts and Crafts in Barcelona. Residing and working in Badalona. Professor of Sculpture at Escola Massana in Barcelona since 1978. Co-author of the following books with Santamera: La Talla Escultura en Madera (Wood Sculpturing) and Escultura en Piedra (Stone Sculpturing) from Perramon Editions.

He has exhibited his stone and wood sculptures and primarily his iron sculptures in some thirty solo exhibitions and in over one-hundred group exhibitions since 1982. Lately, he has been incorporating organic material in his work. He has sculptures exhibited in public in Badalona (Spain), Portugal, Ecuador, South Korea, Lebanon, Taiwan and Puerto Rico.

His personal works, displayed in conceptual series, such as De Natura Mutante (Mutating Nature), Letargia (Lethargy), Tylopsis, Volaverunt, Trobes and Memento, have evolved from geometric symbolism to a syntax superposition of poetic echoes, austerity of shapes and material expressiveness. From the Temps de Sibil·les (Sibyllen Times) series, his sculptures strive to be as clear as prose compositions.
