TallerBDN is an organization dedicated to the creation, production and dissemination of sculpture promoted by a non-profit organization that enjoys the support of the City of Badalona and the Government of Catalonia. It operates in two fields, as a physical workshop and as a professional network for three-dimensional sculptors and artists.

A Workshop of Workshops

TallerBDN occupies an old industrial building located in the centre of Badalona, easily accessible by motorway, train and metro. The 650 m2 building is distributed over two well-lit and diaphanous floors.

Upper floor:

• Six individual workshops equipped with work desks, computers, wardrobes
• A sculpture library and a conference room.
• Kitchen - a fully equipped dining room.

These workshops are available upon request to sculptors who submit a specific project to be carried out in the workshop. The selected candidates, residents, will sign six-month renewable contracts.

Ground floor:

• The three sculptors who are permanent residents offer the machinery and assessment to the workshop residents upon request and to the artists who lease the remaining work spaces on this floor.

Virtual Platform for Artists

In addition to the physical space, tallerBDN offers through its website the opportunity for sculptors and artists to present and promote their work, join a virtual community of artists, have useful and updated information on hand concerning the world of contemporary sculpture.
